Crawling before sitting?

I am wondering if this will be the case with Jackson. He sits only for a few seconds unassisted (being a big boy-he has more to hold up), yet in his crib he will raise himself up on all 4s and rock back and forth on his hands and knees. Anthony did this just before the crawling began. It will be interesting to see what happens next. Yet no matter what milestone he hits first, he is a happy, happy boy-what could be better?

Happy 2nd Birthday Anthony!

I can't believe it has been two years already! Happy Birthday Anthony!

Born 10.27.2006 at 7:10am, 7 pounds 1 ounce, 20 1/2 inches.

And now, celebrating his birthday! He had a whole weekend of fun! Dinner at Nana and Big Papa's on Saturday, Red Robin on Sunday with Uncle Adam and Auntie Aimee

It can't be! 7 months already?

He is such a happy baby and he truly lights up my day when he smiles!
He is growing way too fast...I hope the next 7 go so much slower!

Swimming lessons with Daddy.

The boys had their first ever swimming lessons Friday night. Daddy took them in the water, while I took sat with the other child and watched. Jackson went first and he loves it. They sang songs like "The Wheels on the Bus" and had them try to blow bubbles and kick their legs. He did really well!

While Jackson was in the water, Anthony kept trying to go get in, but once it was his turn he wasn't a fan at first. By the end, David and him were dipping underwater! They both did a great job, and I think they loved that special one-on-one time with Daddy.

The pumpkin patch!

I have learned very quickly that doing things that were easy with one child, are not quite so easy with two. Take pumpkin picking for instance. I hosted the event for our Mom's club and there were about 30 of us, adults and kids at the farm. I had Jackson in his Ergo on my back so I would have my hands free... Yet despite my efforts, most of my pictures of Anthony turned out like this....

Trying to get a toddler to smile, well even look at the camera can be a challenge. Here is my favorite on of the day.
Jackson was very fussy, so no pictures of him, (it turns out he popped his 3rd tooth yesterday morning-he is a teething machine-so that explains the tough day he had).

I got home and realized I have no pictures of the boys with pumpkins of any sort!
Oh well, I get an A for effort right?
