...and I mean that in the best way possible. I can't believe what a litte boy my baby has turned into. We have been in the midst of quite the tantrum phase and today was my light at the end of the tunnel. I can't help getting teary as I watch all the things he does that show he is growing up so fast.
- Instead of whipping his food across the floor, I secretly celebrated that all day today he picked up his plate and reached it out to me.
- I sing the ABCs and if you tell him its his turn you hear, "A, B, C, D, C, C, C..." Love it.
- David has poison ivy and I put a band aid to cover one spot that was really inflamed. Anthony reaches out his arm and points to the same spot b/c he wanted a band aid too.
- No crying, arching, or fighting to get in the stroller or carseat. Or to go inside when it was time to get ready for dinner!
- Hugging his brother and being very gentle around him.
- Throwing his fruit snacks wrapper in the trash.
- Coloring. This is something new. He hadn't been interested before.
- Picking up the burp cloth off the floor and handing it to me when I am holding Jackson and can't quite reach.
- Sticking out his tongue and giggling when you ask, "Where's your tongue?"
- Holding still when changing messy diapers! Wrestlemania was put to rest for the day! yay!
I am in awe of how much he changes everyday, yet I am a bit sad as well because I know how quickly these last almost 20 months have gone.
